i have bought a roma 200 ltr tank set it up and have been doing regular water changes and testing the water i also have a 65 ltr which is now 1 year old and brill untill it started to leak from the bottom and i would lose about 1 cm of water over nite and it scared me so i had no choice but to transfer the fish over to my roma which i was doing a fish less cycle in. i have 4 guppies 8 tetra 2 cat fish which have gone in the new tank. i also put the filter from the 65 ltr in there as this is fully matured. im still going to do daily water changes of 25% to 50% but im worried, will they be ok as iv had the fish along time and love them to bits (that sounds sad) but i do any advise please thank you

all ur fish should be ok if they all came out of the 65l tank. cause as u have moved the filter from there tank it will be fully cycled and able to cope with the fish u already have

ite also running with an external filter as well. with the mature one in there as well will it speed up the cycling process

yeah it will help ur new filter along a bit. but slowly add new fish and keep doing water tests to keep an eye on things

If you have been adding ammonia to the tank that was being fishless cycled,and added occupants of leaking tank along with filter from leaking tank, I would still expect ammonia spike unless you performed sizeable water change before adding the fish and filter from leaking tank to dilute the levels of ammonia in the tank being cycled via the fishless method before adding the fish.
Fishless cyling of the afore mentioned tank maybe could have been sped up by adding some seed material from leaking tank. I will assume this is what you did? If not,, is someting to consider for any additional tanks in the future.

Since the filter from your 65L has been cycled, you can put all of your fish, and the filter into your Roma. THen run the filter on your Roma with the filter from your 65 for about a month, and then you can remove the 65L filter. Or keep it, if you'd like.

I would still suggest doing a large water change to the tank that has been fishless cycling assuming you have been adding ammonia daily BEFORE adding fish.
Cycled filter or no cycled filter the ammonia levels in the fishless cycling tank could be quite high and sudden addition of fish which produce more ammonia ,could be more than bacteria in mature filter can process quickly.
It's no big deal if large water change is done before fish are added.
Many add liquid ammonia during fishless cycling at levels that may be more than the mature filter can handle. Couldnd't hurt to perform sizeable water change considering the fish to be added will produce ammonia as well.

im doing about 30 % water changes a day and my ammonia levels are fine 0.25 ppm ph is at 7 nitrite is at 0 but my nitrate level is a bit high 1.0 ppm but in doing my 30 % water changes every day and with the mature filter these will soon come down im trying to add a pic of the tank how do i do it
