i'm thinking about working at one of my lfs

my lfs really has no workers. but is really good. i'm going to go to one in the next few years and ask if i can have a job. is it a good idea?

You've probably seen this recent thread by Meg asking the same question - however seeing that you're only thinking about asking them in two years time: might I suggest you wait till then to really ask the question to us again - a lot can happen in two years.

uh not quite what I envisaged. More like possibly getting a girlfriend/boyfriend (as applicable according to preference), having a life and thinking "fish ? what fish?"
