Use the fungus treatment as dirrected. I use Formalin ms. It is a formaldahyde solution and works well on funges. You add 2 drops per galon of water every other day untill curred. You remove the carbon from the filter. One problem: Fungus is sometimes the result of other problems. It is possible to cure the fungus only to have the fish die from something else. If fungus is the only problem it should be gone in three or four days and the fish will act normal.
Keep checking the amonia and nitrites. Amonia even in small amounts (.5 or more) can cause problems. You can prevent nitrites from causeing problems by adding 1 tablespoon of non iodised salt per 10 g of water. Once your tank had cycled amonia and nitrites will stay near 0 unless something is wrong.. Don T.
