Im So Happy!

I just finished my last day of work experience yesterday Which was at my LFS! As i was collecting some bits from the coldwater section down stairs the owner asked me if i wanted to work a few hours every other weekend if someone wanted a day off! The answer was obviously YES!
Im 14 and i hav been looking for a job for ages and no one would give me one But i have my dream job now and i havnt even left skwl yet!
I'M WELL HAPPY!

I am a freshman, so every lfs says i am too young, even the one i have extremely close ties with.

my better lfs takes on young employees. Id say 18/19? as far as i can tell they only work when the more experienced of the two main workers is in. So far ive seen him deal with furry friends and bagging the fish etc. Information and questions get redirected It must be great experience and if you do all the lacky work, you would soon build up at least a basic knowledge quickly.

My lfs taks people who are 16 and up, but they have to be really good, because my lfs is renown for its knowlege.
They told me when i am sixtenn i can join becasue they said i know alot. Ohhhh, CONGRATUALTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothings better than working in a pet/fish store I myself work at petsmart lol... Lot's of fun and good times I know more about the fish than most of the employees there, and it's thanks to sites like this, the friendly advice from people and (of course) research

Will he be paying you? Most places won't give jobs in the UK till you are 16.

My LFS takes on as young as 15
and lets younger kids volenteer(clean glass) i plan to get a job there next year haha, and i cant right now either way, there having a renovation

(usually it is 16...company insurance and stuff only covers 16 and above as far as i am aware but correct me if i am wrong)

there's only a mnimum limit on under 16 pay. (very low at the ) but under 16 should get paid. not sure on legality of it, but should be little under £3. ( i got £3 hour at first part time job.
