think ive made up my mind, really want an oscar now

what fish will have to go in my signature??

think for defo , angels, and hatchet fish..

would my tank only be suitable for one?

umm...i dont want to be the bearer of bad news, but i think if you really really want an oscar, all the fish have to go

except maybe the pleco

but others might say diffrently

75 gallons is the minimum requirement of one oscar.

is that an archer fish? i dont think any fof those fish would b compatible either. i think the bare minimum for 1 oscar is a 90g anyways

...and labs aRE africans, rams are NW... u shouldnt usually mix africans with NWs but i guess it might b an exception... hatchet fish are schooling so they shouldnt b alone... same with the archer and archer fish r brackish anyways

mines a fresh water archer fish....

maybe be i need a bigger tank then......

75g or 90g ??

arnt clown loaches, RTBS and keyholes fine with oscars

if it is a freshwater archer it probably grows to around 6 inches? I don't think it owuld work but I'm not sure myself, I want freshwater archers and nkmonks says thay they like to be left alone. I assume you have toxotes microlepis as blythii are super rare lol

yeah with clown lopaches they get big and you really need to keep a big group of them to be happy, so that's gonna take up a big amount of stocking, and with an O it's pushing it as it is. I've an 80g tank with an O, a common plec, a parrot fish and a firemouth. And that's overstocked, there's no agression issues at the moment, my Oscar's docile as anything, but if he turns I will have to get rid of some fish from there. I'm just hoping everything stays OK until we move and I can get a 6x2x2 for them all. :/
