Hello!

My name's Drummond, i found this forum about a month or so ago, and have finally got round to joining so i thought i'd say hello!

I've been keeping tropical fish for about 8 or 9 years and currently have two tanks. Over the years I've kept a whole host of different sih, but at the moment i just have the 'usual' tropicals that most people seem to have...! One tank is 3 1/2 foot with a couple of angels, some neons and a couple swordtails, although this is in the process of being changed a fair bit, thinking of getting a shoal of tiger barbs and maybe a RTB shark, the RTBS would be fine with a bristlenose wouldnt it?

And i also have a 2foot tank which at the moment just has endlers in, (will probably change once i get the other tank sorted) i've lost count of how many there are now, 20something, as they're breeding like rabbits, so if anyone near Edinburgh wants to buy some endlers let me know...

I'm also hoping to set up a cichlid tank at some point, but being a poor student that may have to wait for a little while!!

If you want your questions answered you should post in the tropical chat forum,

But to answer your question a red tail would be fine with a plec mine's fine with my sail fin.

I too have a shoal of tigers and a red tail and he chase's the tigers but doest do any harm.they have lived together for about a year.

you probably know if you get a shark you can only keep one as thay are very terratorial.
