Im New And Extrememly Nooby

Well after yesterday my came home from my friends ot find that my mom purchased a 2 gallon hexagonal tank(petcetera brand i dontk now dimeansions), with a 3i Whisper INternal Filter(was an undergravel filter in htere previous).
Oh yeah i havent had any expereience with an aquarium at all but hte tank piqued my interest, leading back to old memories when iwas 6(im 14 now w.e call me a geek w.e u want i dont care lol)when iwas 6 my dad had a huge salt water tank(had nemos(actually names)and my dad said it was a 150 gal tank(huge compared to current one eh)then we moved blah blah blah yeah my little 3 year old sis wanted a fish badly
so now we have the 2 gallon tank with 2 red wag platies, and 2 black skirted tetras in the tank with a single plant and 2 live rocks(hell ive been doing ltosa research over these past 22 hours or so)
anywho yeah

From your post it sound like you did not cycle the tank. If you don't know want cycling is heres a link. Also you should have 1" of adult fish for every gallon of water. So you have a few to many fish in there and a 2 gal. is really only big enough for a betta.
