i was just on another forum right and they were asking questions about outdoor ponds for feeders fish, they were talking about guppys, mollies and so on. Then a couple of other guys added this. They chuck in a pond 2 male bettas and 10 females, 3 months later they had over 500 bettas!! but dont worry they wernt feeder fish. Ive been reading up heaps about it and for some reason fish breed alot faster and are better off outside in a potplant with just the sunshine.

check out these ones

I had the same but with a plastic pool, takes over 10 000gal and cost the same as a 55gal tank.. also the filter was a pond old filter but the water was very clean, I had it for over 3 years before I moved. You'll notice that koi messes a lot compared to most other fish

OMG! Is that 3 koi I see in the first pic  :/

Yes, i think it's bad. Kois get really big, and need big ponds.

Depends on how big the pond is. If you put one male in one corner, and another male in another corner, they might be ok. And females don't fight anyway. It would almost be a simulation of their natural environment.

P.T.

yea but they dont know how to act in nature all they know when our next feed and how am i going to have fun in my 2.5 gallon today.
