Im Getting Ready To Give Up On Treatments

i ve not seen any sign of infections or worms except the flicking .... so im not gonna bother anymore til one is dead if they do die from unseen plms then ill peek under the gills to see but what the hell is wrong with the tank it was plm free til i put the cories in it i even quartine for 3 weeks ... did i do something wrong somewhere i treated for ick and gill flukes i have given 3 treatmenst of gill flukes and reminder im in canada

i do a weekly water changes 30 percent changes

water parameters is fine

have not added any other fishy for last 2 weeks i went ahead put the clown loaches in as i was already treatting both tanks so i didnt see any plms the clown loaches are doing great so far and a fun bunch

im getting so frustrated

Do you have any livebearers as flicking without symtoms can be flukes to internal parasites.

the platty is seems to be fine and i dont see them flicking at all .. the rainbow and the paradise have done the flicking already and one female paradise is swimming backwards she does swim forward but i m not so sure if she eating ive been watching she goes around when food is out but i have not really seen her eat if she eats any the paradise seems to perfer the shrimp pellets over the flakes

Heavy metals.

waterquality shold be fine i tes0ted its fine ....

flukes treated 3 doses and did water changes .....

Does your declorinator remove heavy metals.
Flukes can take some time to get rid off.

i use prime .... geepers flukes r a pain then grrrr or even para sites... i wish i knew what meds to get it treated and i wish i had some where else to take them out and treat them

ok question if i was to put them in 10 gallon for a few days with treatments and a 50 gall filter will that work and how would i treat the other tanks for the clown loaches and cories im at loss

also why would a fish swim backwards its like she jerks backwards she hovers nad then jerks backwards till she hits the glass then she swimms forward to the other side then does it again

Does she swim like she getting no where.
Does she twitch.

her fins arent clamped but would a rainbow shark be a bully already ... hes about 3 inches or close to it

They are know for being aggressive.
Does your lfs do skin scrapes.

i have no clue its a superpet and petsmart we have here rest in stores like walmart and small stores like that it looks awful there so i dont think so ill ask them next time i go there i know they just look at it and do water testes thats it
