I am getting four new girls off aquabid, yes I took the plunge, I decided if I am going to breed anything, it had better be good enough quality. Anyways, I am trying to decide whether or not to put them in the 29 gallon with my platys, or make up the 10 or 6 gallon for them.

I would really prefer them to go in the 29 gallon, because it leaves me extra spawning tanks. The 29 gallon is planted and has hiding spaces, plus I think they would like all the extra room.

If they or the platys dislike each other, then everybody has to get seperated though.

also, my platys are piggies, how do I insure that they wont eat the bettas pellets? or am I going to just have to feed live or frozen food to everybody...cause I sure dont think the girls will like flake food.

oh yea also if they have to live seperate I have an extra cycled filter running on the 29 gallon just for the purpase of needing to set up an extra tank :shifty:
