Im Getting My First Tank And Need Help!

I am thinking about getting the Eclipse Explorer just as my first tank and plan on getting a bigger one around christmas like a 20-29 gallon. Do you think this is a good starting tank and if not let me know of any others. Also take into consideration that i only have like 30 dollars to spend on the tank lol im only 17 with no job.

Any tank is a good starter tank. You just have to choose your inhabitants correctly afterwards.

Search for a used tank to stretch your dollar. I recently saw a 20 gallon tank with all required items and decor at the salvation army for 7 dollars!!

How many gallons is the explorer? What were you planning on keeping? You may be able to get a nice deal if you check your local paper... That's were I look for tanks, and there's quite often some pretty nifty stuff (for way cheaper than you'd find anywhere else!)
