im getting a puffer

im cycling my 29gal it should be done in a couple of weeks im just debating about a red eye or an s/a puffer any ideas

Well, I dont own either, but I do own some Dwarf Puffers and I do vouch for them. Most puffers are full of personality and either a Red eye or a South American would be nice in a 29g. Keep in mind SA's are, like most puffers, can/will hurt other fish. I think Red eyes are somewhat docile, but I would be wary of adding other speices of fish to the tank with them. I would definately reccomend doing a species only tank seeing some agression issues may show up. Make sure to give them lots of hiding places. Hope that helps! i have 3 dwarf puffers they are in a 90g tank with other fish and there fine but they have lots of room i love just watching them they swim so weird i would recomed these!
