I'm curious about my female molly. I had a pair of black mollies, m/f, that were together since the begining, and very good companions. She delivered 1 batch, and after that, the male kept on beating her up. I got another female to try to get him to leave her alone for awhile. Well, he chased the new female into a corner all the time. This went on for about 3 weeks. Then one day, I discovered the first female dead, and the new female chasing the male into a corner all the time! What caused the sudden reverse I'm going to take her out of the tank, because the male is my favorite fish, and she's driving him crazy!

Sometimes female mollies get very bossy. If you have enough room try getting 2 more females and see if that relieves the abuse on the male. Otherwise you could trade her in for a kinder, gentler model

The males just going hey hottie! and like flirting with the female and now the females going back off! I'd never go out with YoU
