iv got a java in one of my betta tanks and its got this strange white film on it and im curious as to what this might be if some one could give me some help id appreciate it

if it's a brand new tank it may be a whitish clearish fungus...does it kind of act like cotton balls, dandelion weeds?

It could also be snail eggs maybe if you can see tiny dots in the goop.

lol dang thats probaly what it is then iv got a snail in there, do snails lay unfertilised eggs?
