I'm back

Things have changed allot since last time I was here. I have an oscar and a plec now. I took most of my other fish to maidenhead aquatics near pontypridd. As people will tell you you cant keep anything with an oscar. To be honest I think the plec should go to maiden head as well and I do wonder sometimes about the oscar. He seems happy enough but there should be two(always two there are no more no less). Anyway I'm sure I can remeber somethings about fish so I might be able to help with some newbe questions.

Hi there Jamnog i remember you, welcome back.

And on the contrary to what you have said about oscars they can indeed be kept with other fish, you just have to choose the right fish to keep them with. I have two 12" oscars which are kept together with various large catfish, a stingray, a arowana and other large Cichlids in a 200 gallon tank and have no problems with them.

Thanks guys good to be back I think I must have picked the wrong large plec. It has plenty of hiding places and tend to just swim away
