Hi guys, since moving house and moving too a much bigger 183 litre tank I have had loads of problems.

The tank looks lovely, the water params are literally spot on, the temp is fine and im running 3 filters in total (an eheim classic, elite stingray internal and a small bubble box filter)

So far since moving on the 16.01.08 I have lost :

1 RTBS (too injury on heater)
1 Platy (too injury on heater)
1 Golden Barb (too injury on heater)

also

6 baby platys have disapperaed leaving me with 3, I have also lost 1 peppered cory who just seemed too stop living out of the blue and also 1 albino krib out of the blue.

None of them seemed unwell at all, as said the water params are spot on.

The heater issue is solved as te 3 fish in question got stuck in the heater guard which has now been removed.

WHATS GOIN ON (

im gutted, I cant afford too replace any fish at present and not only is it looking a little depleted, im gutted at losing my favourite fish.

Any thoughts anyone

many thanks

Stu

if the filters were off for more than an hour when you moved tank some of the bacteria might have died and you got a minor ammonia reading. This could have stressed the fish and added to their woes. The baby platies probably got eaten or died and then got eaten.
You just got unlucky with the heater guard and things will settle down soon.

the filters were off for prob an hour max but were kept in old tank water whilst the move was going on, my ammonia reading is 0.0 as is the nitrate (i think that ths right one) then the nitrite was off the top of my head 10??

oh and thanks for your reply Colin
