Hi,

I have just noticed that one of my 4 month old Dalmation Mollies is swimming round in circles at the bottom of the tank!!!!!! Is there anything that I can do??? All the other fish seem fine!!!!

Tank size: 60L
pH:
ammonia:
nitrite:
nitrate:
kH:
gH:
tank temp: 26

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior): Colour looks fine, bottom of the tank, swimming in circles

Volume and Frequency of water changes: every 2 - 3 weeks

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank:

Tank inhabitants: Other mollies, Neons, Harlequins, Plecko,

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): None

Exposure to chemicals: None

An immediate water change, you have to maintain the tank once a week with a gravel vac and water change.
Plecs are big waste producers, what type of plec is it.
Take a sample of your water to the lfs and tell them to write the readings down for you.

Thank you, i will change the water and clean the gravel. I take it that there is no hope for that fish then???

Need to know your stats, a water change should help.

As wilder said, once a week water change and I reckon about 25% sshould do it. How many other fish are in the tank because 60L is about 15 GALLONS right?

i will be doing a water change tonight. There are too many in there I am sure, The Mollies keep reproducing (well only twice). But I have 5 neons, 4 Harlequins, 1 dalmation molly 7 (4 month old) and five 1 week old, 1 black molly, 1 plecko. Advice??

Yes overstocked but if you buy another filter you should be ok.
Small tanks and being overstocked you should be doing that gravel vac and water change once a week.
Plus you will need to invest in a liquid test kit this way you will know if the weekly water change is enough.
