already got bogwood , neons are booooooooring everybody has em may get a big school of something tho. but having said that am thinking about geting a severum or angelfish as a centrepiece so dont want any small fish really want fish 3" minimum. already have 3 pearl gourami but they are being rehomed along with the neons the rosy tetras and platy when new tank gets set up .

hard to please i know lol

maybe rams / keyholes guess im just after that something a little different but not to clued up on compatibility which is why i keep askin so many questions in here ( only been keeping fish since easter but already totaly hooked)

How about a nice large shoal of tiger barbs? They could withstand the aggression of the kribs and RTBS quite well.

12ish, (8 minimum) depending on your stocking level, have a mix of green, gold and striped, Lovely IMO - I miss my tiger barbs - full of character

Sounds like an idea

They will make the top/middle of the tank active, whereas your kribs/RTBS and Plec will mostly keep the bottom active.

may want to rehome the plec if its a spec. that gets quite big, also do u ike rainbows. A shoal of maybe 7 or 8ish boesemani rainbows are stunning and then maybe you could get an angel or a pair of keyhole cichlids as kinda the center peice, not sevs tho they will out grow the tank.

my plec was sold to me as a red spotted it looks like it could be a sailfin to me ( gibiceps?) hope not as he will get too big

Personally wouldnt put keyholes with kribs, if those kribs spawn the peaceful keyholes will have nowhere to get away.

Agree boesmani rainbows are very nice too

yeah i guess thats probly true about the keyholes, u would problobly be ok with an angle though. Also sailfins will out grow your tank so maybe rehome him and get a smaller plec like 2 or 3 bristle nose or some other dwarf plec that floats ur boat, But i wouldnt do the angel and the tiger barbs.

or turquise rainbows if u like them better
