i have 1 nutrafin co2 yeast based kit, if i was to get another then should i have 2 attached to 1 ladder or have 1 ladder at each end of the tank, i am thnking of getting of getting a ceramic diffuser aswell, would the same answer apply to the above question.

The best way i think to do it is to connect it to one ladder (a ceramic diffuser like you said you may get would be better though) Then connect the two nutrafin units to the same airline into your bubble counter using a splitter that goes into one.

Also as a side note the best way i think to have two units at a time working is to change them intermittently (change one midweek, then the other at the weekend). I think thats the best method that people here have recommended as it keeps the level of co2 higher rather then having both the units which are both getting low on co2 making power at the same time.
