Hey,
This isnt something new, but my neons dont really move that much. When noone is near the tank theyll usually just sit in suspended animation. Theyll chase each other now and then, and go crazy when its feeding time, or when someone approches, but at other times they just seem to be lazy.
Could this be because my water is hard- 15-16 dH (300ppm) and alkaline pH 7.5-7.7?
Only other reasons i can think of is lack of other fish, only one guppy, so they dont feel the need to move, or the tanks too small, its a 50 liter 2 foot tank which i'll be upgrading to a 125 liter soon.
They dont look i'll at all.
