i have been reading everynight for a while now to research for my first planted tank. I have been keeping tropical fish for about 5 years now but i have only really ever dropped a few potted plants in.

I have got a rio 180 which i will be using.

Can anyone give me a basic idiots guide on how to go about setting up a planted aquarium, what to use etc. I am finding it difficult to digest all the information.

I hope this is not too much hassle.

Regards

Lol, be careful that you don't change what you're doing and inadvertantly kill your fish! You must be doing something right to have kept them alive this long.

That being said being alive isn't being happy. :good:
