You can see a tiny ray extension at the bottom, but that is it. I am having trouble believing he is all veil tail. Maybe some comb tail? What is comb tail exactly?

A very young female... less than half the size of the males.

Any age guesses? The more and more I see adult females, the more I get confused, since she seems as small as some several week old fry.

Again, not sure what she is. Slight dip in tail, and does not resemble a veil tail to me?

The male looks veiltail, but you can't tell on the female from that pic. What are the edges of the caudal like on the female? How round are the corners?

Thanks everyone - veil tails still confuse me sometimes, the other ones have more "jaggedy" fins.

And the female had to be taken with a macro setting - this one is a pretty good shot! Except you can't see the slight dip in her tail anymore.

You can tell if your female is a vieltale or a delta tail by looking at the rays in her tail. By rays, I mean the viens you see running out from the base of the body that supports the structure. If you can't see them get a flashlight and shine on her tail and you should see them. If her rays break/branch into a V at the end she should be a delta. Vieltails don't have branching in their fins. Atleast I think this is correct, unless they technically need 2 branches/breaks to be a delta.
