I think it's Dwarf Hair Grass.

What substrate do you think it would like best?

Nutrient rich substrates. Apart from that it doesn't really matter. Here are some possibilities:

Onyx Sand
Eco-complete
Flourite
Aquasoil

p.s. Watch out for that black bearded algae.

If the condtions are in favour of BBA then it may be a target but best not to worry. If you think you might be getting any then post back.

You can get a Siamese Algae Eater, that will eat BBA gradually and then keep the levels down.
Make sure nitrates are at 10-20ppm to 1ppm Phosphate. CO2 should be at 30-35ppm consistantly. BBA doesn't do well in a tank with CO2 over 30ppm. Havelights on for only 8 hours a day.

Is that to overcome it aswell. I dont really like the idea of keeping lights on for 8 hours a day all the time. I was more think along the lines of. 5 hours on 2 hours off then 5 hours on again. I'm starting to completely abandon my original plan, sine whatever i choose for grass plant it will prob get algae all over. One of the plants in the tank will be a fast grower...so..Do you still think i should attempt the Dwarf Grass?

I think you should at least give it a go. That way you will know whether it works in your tank or not, you will know if it gets the BBA and it would be a shame if you didn't try it out and it didn't get BBA because then you are actually capable of keeping it but you didn't know because you didn't give it a go.
