Flourescent or incandescent lighting?

Well, if I were getting another tank of that size, I would probably put tetras in in as I really like them.

What kind of fish do you already have and do you want something new?

Angels are some of my favorites. Teh ytend to like low pH and soft water but will tolerate other parameters.

Mollies tend to like hard water with high pH, but can tolerate other parameters.

If you mix them, try to keep your water as neutral as possible, I suppose then everyone will be alright. I think one or the other with their preferred conditions would be better.

I wouldn't worry too much about PH either way, unless you want to breed fish have proven very adaptable - unless your water is really extreme on one end or the other.

It seems you already mentioned two fish you like - Angels and Gouramis, so only you can decide which you prefer.

Angels are new world cichlids, so once they mature (breeding age) they will form Monogomous couples. These pairs will then begin to act aggressively toward the others. You can start with about 4 of them, but eventually when a pair forms you'll be removing the others - two fill a 29 gallon.

They can go with any of the more peaceful fish that are not small enough for them to eat - you're options are wide open.

lol thats a tough decision...What are good tank mates for angels and what are they for gourmaes?

hmmm what do you reccomend and once the angels form a pair I can only have 2? What a minute angels and gourmais!

depends on what species you deside on-there is the giant true gourami which only a public size aquarium could maintain and then there are the small betta size grouamis.
