i am looking for stocking suggestions for a bow front tank measuring 3ftwx16dx24h.any ideas would be interesting as im open to anything and pictures would be very useful.

my water stats from the tank come ot at 7.6ph,50nitrate,0nitrite,21gh &10kh

hey i think that bowfronts look great planted and with rainbow fish (my lfs has a 72 gallon bowfront like this and its superb) for the size of the tank i would go with a large shool maybe 10-12 neon dwarf rainbows. They are great fish and really add life to the tank as they stand out with their brilliant color. here is a profile for them that looks pretty good.

Also you could get a pair of angels for the main fish i think black angels would look nice with the rainbows heres a site that looks good

And some others may disagree but in my experience pictus catfish have been great with these fish. Just get 2 or more and they are great to watch(just no really small fish with them such as neons) Pictus never have bothered any of my rainbows or angels, also make sure you have caves for them to hide so they feel secure. heres a good sorce for further info

And for algea control you could get a small pleco gold nugets are cool

or maybe some siamese algae eaters (3-5)
