Ideas On A Small 27 Uk Litre Tank

in my tank i have a fliter heater and a light. my tank has been set up for 5 weeks already i want to buy some nice fish. i like the look of guppies because my sister has them but i dont know if they go with them ???
i know i can have a beta but what other things can i have in my tank???
