Ideas For A Cool Aquarium

Does anyone have any dream tank that if they had a huge space and unlimited money they would build?

i heard of this rich guy that is the owner of the jebo fish tank range and got cranes in to lift the roof of his house, placed huge big panes of glass worth a couple of hundred thousand bucks...in the middle of his living rooom..and placed a wobbegong shark in there .... crazy spot to put it hey... but its a mad idea..

id like something, like a huge huge room....and a fish tank as the walll and it goes all the way around the room... full of marines most probably...

anyone else got any other ideas??

Fish tanks that covered the entire windows in every room of the house would be awesome, as long as you didn't plan on opening the windows. And you would have to make sure that the sunlight didn't make it too hot. But it'd be awesome

i rather have something like a tropical pond. or lake and have a glass bottom boat to drive round in the lake and then go diving and see how big the fish are!

ok i think i got a little too excited.

i probably go with the other guys idea of a tank covering 3 walls and sit in the middle.
i probably have a tank that goes all the way around the top of a room, like the steam train sets that you see on movies and stuff, and just be amazed by it.

I'd just buy a house with an indoor pool, fiddle with the filtration slightly, refill with tap water and keep some big fish.

same as callum but i would want a 20ft bow front surrounding my bedroom as well and pay a guy to look after the tanks

pretty simple for me, in the front room.

6`x4`flat screen telly mounted on the wall

on the left side of it built into the wall a 6X4X4 marine reef, and on the right a 6x4x4 hightec planted, and the rom behins would simply house al the equipment to make the tanks run, with the co2 bottles the sump for the marinetank, refugium, calcium reactors, auto top off, and many other gadgets...

I would just have a floor - ceiling mega huge tank but in a square/rectangle shape and separate it into four sections, I'd have each section as a different theme (eg: Natural, Finding Nemo, Caves, unusual etc). I'd have really colourful fish in it and loads of hiding places for fry.

Maybe it will come true one day?

has anyone seen the darling harbour aquarium in sydney or the underwater world in sunshine coast? where u go on the moving walkway and it takes u through the tunnels with sharks and stuff??

id love something like that, it would be cool... that would mean u would have to buy another huge building and put a huge aquarium in there.... i still reckon that idea of opening up the house and then putting that huge tank in there and chucking in a wobbegong shark was awesome... id love something like that... and u can just snorkel around in it... heaps of reef rish though would be awesome...

I'd prefer lots of small and medium tanks to one massive; then I'd go into breeding rare poeciliids and loricariids. Was going to say a fishhouse, but really I'd like a house with rooms big enough and enough sockets to keep the fish in the rooms where I was.
