Fish Herder
Just bought a nice peice of bog wood, with a perfect size hollow for a plant.(5"wide, 3" across and 4" deep pic below.)

I was thinking about putting a tiger lotus in it, and placing it center in the tank (pic above)
I,ve a sand substrat, and sertain plants dont do well without a fertalizer at there roots, i thought about putting it in some aquatic compost in the bog wood with the plant and some gravel to finish.
what do u recon would it grow ok, or wolud i be wasting my money? or do u have any other sujestions.
tank 300ltr discus, PH 6.4, KH 2, temp 29'C, light 3 * 38w tubes CO2 fertalizer
