ok....my plant is half dead half alive (cant remember the name) I was thinking of taking it outside and putting some plant fertalizer and natural sun. Would that work at all? or am i just on some crazy crack binge? thanks
I would cut the dead leaves/stems off. When parts start dying, the plant sends extra nutrients there in an attempt to rejeuvinate the dead parts. In doing this, the healthy parts also start to die because they aren't getting any nutrients. If you cut the dead off, and the healthy parts don't get any better, you may be best to just pitch it.
Just to let us know... how much light, fertailzer and the like are on the tank. It might help us diagnose the problem.
Anyway, back to the question.... Is it an aquatic species or non aquatic? Im pressuming its a non aquatic. If so, you could dimply remove it and place it in a shadded area. Maybe for a week or more until it rejuvinates. Other wise, leaving it in the waterits just going to rot and pollute your water.
Without knowing what it is and what conditions you are keeping it in, it is really difficult to offer any sensible advice at all. It may be a non aquatic, maybe to much light, to little light, to acidic, to alkali, to soft, to hard....
