Seahorses usually require specialized set-ups with docile tankmates and live food. They are also more vulnerable to being stung by corals and anemones.

However I have heard of a Niger Trigger being kept with Seahorses :S However keeping a Seahorse with such a fish would be an enormous gamble.

Also, always buy tank raised Seahorses; they are hardier and are more apt to take frozen food.

Without an actual picture of the seahorse itself it would be nigh impossible to give an identification (and even with a pic it is often hard). Colouring isn't an indicator of species as seahorses are able to change their colour. The problem with Kudas is that they are often an amalgamation of several species so can vary somewhat in their appearance and can look like one species while actually being a hybrid.
