A while ago I had a floating plant that had sort of spikely leaves that were about 2" long, it grew like crazy even in my very poor lighting. Unfortunately it all died off when I stupidly left it in a bucket (empty) for a couple of days after switching substrate on the tank. I started out with enough to cover about 1 square foot and eventually had some in every tank it grew so well. It had many stems and roots that could be planted of left to float, it grew better floating.

So plant experts, any ideas what it could be?

Thanks in advance.

OK, I've been doing some digging and think it could be water wisteria.
