Hi,

Can someone advise please.

These were purchased from the Lfs labelled as an Apistogramma Chilid (New World), however, after further research I believe they are an African species, I think they are either a Jewel or African Butterfly.

they luk like apisto's to me not sure which tho try the cichlid forums av a look thru the profiles pics abit bluury as u say but u mite b able to check them better seen as u can see them

I agree! Anyone have any experience with them? My lfs has some, and I would like to add them to my tank, but don't want anything too aggressive. I have a 75 gallon with 3 bolivian rams, 2 key hole cichlids, 4 tiger barbs, 6 gold barbs, a common pleco, and a rtbs.
