Id Please

I saw a malawi cichlid in an lfs at the weekend but im not sure on the id and the guy in the shop wasnt too sure and the bloke who knew about malawis was on his dinner they just had them marked up as interruptus has anyone any ideas about them?ive tried googling but not much came up.thanks

Melanochromis interruptus Nice fish not too aggressive for a Melanochromis sp.
Blue checked males yellow females.
