Id Needed

Hi,

I got this plant from a local merchant and he said it was C. wendtti. Now I don't know that much about plants, but it definitively is not a wendtti. Plants were imported according to him. The roots look a bit like a banana plant or a lily type but the leaves make me wonder.

Anybody knows this plant? Thanks in advance

We need Liz; she lives in a similar ecozone as Mexico and I bet this is another 'wild' plant which probably grows in her backyard
