i have a 26 uk gallon tank (118 litres) and would love for the bottom to be covered with moss and the backline covered with plants like twisted vallis but i am afraid i wont see my fish and when my fish have fry i wont be bale to find the eggs fm my cories ir the fry from my platies any ways of getting round these problems

I actually find that with plants I get more babies surviving. The fish have more places to hide and have a higher survival rate.

yer i just like to get them out for their own tank. well maybe not i platies im ok for them to go their own way but i wnt to see the life of some cories frm birth to death :)

That's cool. Could you move the corries to the other tank for breeding, and then put them back in the main tank after laying the eggs?

could try that ill go to argos tomorow and get some sand lol put some of that on the bottom actually i wont bother wont be able to see the lil babies xD anyway thanks canoechiq

You will probably find in a dense planted aquarium when you do see the fish they will reveal themselves to be even more brilliant. If they have the added security of plants and hiding places they will actually be a lot more active than skulking around. Seeing a ram swim across a lush field of foreground plants is a great thing.
