Haven't tried it, but I'll be sure to look for some if you say that yours love it. Hikari is usually pretty good stuff. Thanks for the tip
yea...especially my sterbais..they go like crazy for it, complety ignore flakes..LOL

I use them. They're nice, but I have found my cories prefer sinking shrimp pellets instead - they are easier to eat and just plain tasty (I would imagine)! In fact, all my fish gather around them and have a total feeding frenzy whenever I drop a few in.

I bought this exact pellet a couple of days ago to try and give to my Corys who are just in there a couple days at this point.

Do these things cloud your water? I seem to get a lot of cloudiness after putting one of these in.

Also, I don't know if my Corys (Elegans) like these because all 17 of my various tetras go NUTS when these things hit the floor. LOL

They all go tail up and play bottom feeder for a few minutes.

Even then, they can't actually FINISH one of these and I end up fishing out leftovers.

I put in a couple of shrimp pellets yesterday but had to fish them out when they went completely ignored by all tankmates. I will try them when the Corys have been in there a few more days.

Hi kevin007 :)

I've heard very good things about them. I'll have to give them a try too.

kevin, i feed my cories on this already , in fact all my fish love them !. once the flake as gone from the top all the fish dive to the bottom to share them . one way of checking all fish are ok... they all seem to thrive on it . :) .. pebbles

IMO Hikari makes great quality sinking foods. I bought an algae scraper magnet and a thermometer and my lfs gave me 3 sample packages of their algae wafers - more than you get in a $4 package :D My cories and swordtails go nuts over those too.

Yep... I use the Hikari Sinking Wafers too. My corys love them... but my neon tetras try to sneak in some bites too.

I tried using the Wardley Shrimp Pellets too... but my fish don't seem to like them nearly as much.

My cories love these things, and my golden gourami pick at them as well. I try to use the larger algae wafers for my pleco, but he has learned to suck up the smaller wafers and carry them to the back of the tank. I worry about him choking on them, but I guess he knows what he's doing. (Can a fish choke?)

maybe...i have never heard of that tho

btw..i am just sharing my oppinions..a happy cory = a happy kevin (me)
