Icky Decor

I know this isnt directly about fish but:
some of my decorations in my tank have this creamy slimy stuff on them and wont come off easily, im soaking them overnight and will check tomorrow but what do people think it is?

Have you tryed scrubbing them in hot salty water.
Rinse well and let dry out for aday.

Ok will try that tomorrow thanx, its a wierd decor - looks abit like anemone (its a fake thingy lol) and rubbery but shall try with hot salty water
