Ick treatment forgot to take carbon out! Help!!

I made a proper school girl error, I started ick treatment 24hrs ago and just noticed I forgot to take carbon out! Do I wait the 48hrs for next treatment like it says (api super cure) or should I use now? Because the carbon will have taken most of it away.

Don't bother adding any more medication, just raise the water temperature to 30 deg C and leave it at that level for 2 weeks or 1 week after the last spot disappears whichever is longer. The fish will be fine at that temperature for a short period and it is safer than using ich medications.
Make sure than the filter outflow points at the water surface to cause ripples or use an airstone to make sure enough oxygen gets into the water as warmer water holds less oxygen (medications also reduce the oxygen level)

Do a huge (80-90%) water change and gravel clean the substrate too. this will help reduce the number of white spot parasites in the tank and buy the fish some time for the heat to work.

Make sure any new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it's added to the tank.
