Ich'like Gourami Disease

Ok my sisters Gold Gourami has had this disease for about two weeks now, we first assumed it was Ich, and have been treating for such, but the Ich treatment doesn't seem to be helping at all, it just keeps getting progressively worse. The first spot has just grown larger without diminishing or disappearing at all. Here's a picture of it, and in case the img tag doesn't work here's the link to it.

Are you talking about Dwarf Gourami disease? I kinda need to see a better picture to see what you're talking about.
I've always thought DGD was species specific to Dwarf Gouramis only. That is a Gold & they're Three Spot Gouramis, just like Opalines & Blues.

Either way I've been battling something strange in my Gourami community tank but I don't think it's the same.

What Ich cure did you try? Supposedly you can cure Ich with conditioned salt treatments alone, depending on whether any other fish in the tank can handle it.
