I brought home 4 guppies and 2 Panda Cory's from the store on Saturday. One died on Tuesday, and now one of the other ones has developed some white spots on her tail. (Then the first guppy died her tail was almost fully white - and she was an orange girl)
I've treated Ich before, but this doesn't look like what I treated last time....But I'm unsure of what else it could be. She has active phases but most of the time hovers at either the top or bottom of the tank, she doesn't appear to be gasping overly much.

Should I treat for Ich just in case? if there is no Ich will treating for it affect the fish in a negative way?

Don't treat unless you absolutely know its ich. Can we have some pictures? Maybe we can better identify what it is :good:

Yep.
In these pictures the spots come up as clear rather than white, but when looking at them (Only one of the bigger spots shows up) they are white..

TBH I can't see anything :/
I recommend either seperating her if you have a spare QT, if not just keep a close eye on her
Maybe someone on this forum can help you further :good:
BTW had a female guppy that looked just like that

She's pretty, I was hoping to add some orange/red to my existing guppy population, they're mostly blueish, to match the tank, but they don't stand out :p

In case you wanted to know, it turned out to be fin rot. The male and the other female have since died ans her fins are starting to look raggedy. I'm returnign the dead ones and getting my money back and buying medicine for her, hopefully I can save her :)
