I went to the pet srore to give away my angelfish as he was outgrowing my tank yesterday and they said he had white spot. I could not see a single dot on him but i still checked my fish when i got home.
None of my other fish had any white spots and am wondering what i should do. i read about the salt bath, i have 5 platy's in there at the moment-about 1 or 2 weeks ago i had my preggo platy in there aswell but have taken her out as she was getting hasled in there. 2 of my other fish have light gravid spots but i don't think they are pregnant as they have had them for 2-3 weeks and have not gotten any bigger at all.
I also have a couple of plants in there- only 2 green and purple ones but was thinking of getting rid of them anyway as the leaves were really annoying.

Anyway my water is fine.
so i was just wondering what to do

thanks

If you can give; Tank size, age, was it cycled? How? Inhabitants, new additions and most importantly, a complete set of test results ('water is fine' can mean many things) then the more knowledgable of this forum (not me :crazy: ) can answer your questions...

Is it a reputable pet store ? Alot of information given from varied pet stores around the country can and has been doubted and discussed to a long level.. anyway, i hope you find the answer you're looking for.

Terry.

tank size- 90 litres
age- about 3-4 months
cycled- yes by putting water in, and testing and if levels were normal than water changes if they were not, until it was all normal.
inhabitants- just the 5 platy's at the moment
new additions- no
test results-
ammonia- 0
nitrite- 0
PH- 7.4

Yes the aquarium place is good, from what i have read, people love it, and so do i. all fish are healthy and fed well with clean tanks

thanks =)
