Ich Update!

Anyone that read my last few posts k ow that I was having a terrible time with ich... I did the heat salt method which made things worse. Then started with half side medication because of my plecos.
 
I was losing at least two guppies a day for almost a week! Lost my rubber lip pleco... And for three days Gator (my common pleco) just played on the bottom of the tank sideways... Not eating or sucking on the wall... I thought for sure he was dying...
 
Well for the past two days, no guppy deaths! And Gator is back to swimming around and eating. Today the ich looks to be mostly gone...
 
The tank on the other hand is going to tank at least a month or so to get clean again! Not having filter media with a pleci is a disaster!!! And my two year old decided to dump a whole thing of algae wafers in the tank... So the water is green. I've been vacuuming... But I have to invest in a five gallon bucket... Because it takes forever with a one gallon to vacuum and fill back up...
 
But I finally have hope that we are gunna beat this crappy ich mess!

Thanks. I'm trying to decide if I want to put the media back in or wait and do a good vacuum with a good water change and then do a half dose of meds again...
 
Its not completely off the guppies, tho they are acting much better. I i don't want to over medicate... But I for sure want it all gone now, so I don't have a reaccirance any time soon! Its almost completely wiped out my guppy population!

Continue with the medicine until it is completely cleared otherwise it will come back.

I didn't know how many more dead fish I could handle! I wish I would have started out with meds. And I won't say next time I will know... Because there better not be a next time! Lol.

Me either... But I've never had ich like this before... Trying to wipe out my entire guppy population! So... Maybe its so kind of mutant ich...
 
It got on my hands... And then on my phone... And absorbed into the internet?

entirely possible, it's all over my yoyos, I moved them to their own tank and all I have here is salt so...salt it is cause we're broke, it's been a terrible month.
