Ich question

well last night i took a look in my tank and my severum had what looks like ich. small salt sized white spots. They are only on his fins. I put some meds in. not even a half dose because i ran out. Well this morning he has about half as many spots. Is it even possible for ich to be killed this fast. My temperature is around 80 normally so i didnt turn it up for fear of frying the fish. I will get more meds today but is it even possible to kill ich this fast?

I haven't had ICH in my tanks for ages, but when I've had, it does usually improve dramatically overnight once treatment has started. And gone in a couple of days. That's my experiene anyway.

No i doubt it would of killed the parasite that fast.

it could just be that the ich cysts have fallen off and are growing!

I used salt in my tank which seemed to get rid of it but not all people agree with salt.

Remember Ich normally seems to get really bad just before you get rid of it.
