Does all Ich medicine turn your water blue? Does the medicine kill the good bacteria? Thank you

It will turn your water blue. What type of fish do you have in there. If they are scaleless they need a half dose and it is poisonous to snails. An overdose can kill your bacteria. just watch your ammonia levels.

I am almost completely sure that your tetras have scales. You might want to search the others because before I searched I thought that my catfish had scales but I found out that their bellies have none.
