Ich Problems. Please Help.

Hi,

I just noticed a few of my fish have a dusting of white spots.

I have done some research here and elsewhere and have decided it is Ich.

But, I don't think I can use salt as I have tetras, and the other treatments are, I believe, harmful to my cherry shrimp and snails.

Is there any treatment that I can use in a tank that contains the above critters or must I remove the inverts?

Oh dear, I just thought of something else, a couple of days ago I gave my mother an apple snail from my infected tank, will the snail have carried ich into her Angel tank?

You will have to remove the shrimp and snails from the tank.
If you added a snail to your mum tank it might be ok, just tell her to keep a look out for whitespot signs.
