ich medication?

I feel kind of stupid asking this but.... I'm using jungle ick guard and the directions say "after 24 hours, change 25% of the water and dosage may be repeated." Does this mean to change the water after 24 hours even if the ich is gone OR change the water only if you need to repeat dosage?

If it's safe to add an entire extra dose (after removing 25% of it) I would assume it's safe to leave a single dose in without doing the water change.

The ich wont clear up in 24 hours,even if the fish has no signs of the ich it will be free swimming in the water.Try turning the temp up to about 85 and keep it up for around 2 weeks the higher temp will get rid of the ich .

Rid ick is another good one. Ick can take a couple of weeks, so keep treating. Good luck.
