I am treating my fish for ick in my 75g tank. I am using Seachem Paragaurd. It does not say anything at all about removing the carbon from the filter, although I already did.
I would like to know if I need to remove my marineland ammonia chips from the filter as well. My ammonia level has been just a bit above 0 for a week or 2 so I added the chips to help the situation. I know the ick my have been brought about by the higher ammonia, but I would still like to treat it and keep the ammonia chips if possible.
Does anyone know if this can be done or will they absorb the medication also?
