that is the way you can get rid of ich turn your heater up to 85 degrees and nothing else. If you dont have any scaless fish you can add a little salt. Lrave your heater on 85 for a week or so and that should take care of your unwanted little white spots. LOL :hyper:  :S :S    :byebye: :byebye: :byebye: :byebye: :byebye: :byebye: :kana:

Also perform 10%-15% water change with a lite gravel cleaning each day. Increasing the temps speeds up the life cycle of the ich. They cannot be killed when they are on the host. They are only vulnerable when they fall to the gravel and become free swimming. This is why you must perform a gravel clean/water change also.

If you add the aquarium salt, dissolve the salt first in water. Then slowly pour the salt in the tank over a long period of time.

Good luck.

Ich is a parisitic cycle infection and only affects already weakened fish , and turning the temp up only speads up the "cycle". The spots on the fish cycle 1, then they fall off and form cysts on the floor of the aquarium, then the cysts busts and produce lots of more free swimming parasites which then go in searh of another host namely another weak fish and the cycle begins all over again,
