Well I did some research because I just got home today to find white spots on all my platy.
I freaked out and did emergency research..

It's a thirty gallon aquarium.

As for my important question"
I bought Ick guard - From jungle not too long ago and I was wondering if it will harm my biological filtration?
I need to know this before putting it in. I'm aware its meant for aquarium fish and everything.
I'm just taking extra precaution too the issue.

I hope my fish don't die

Ask about ick guard in tropical discussion.
Some whitespot meds can knock water stats.
Also make sure you can use the full dose with the fish you keep.

Increase temp to 30.
Increase aeration as the high temp and med reduce 02 in the water.
Remove black carbon from filter if you use it.
