Add some salt then one tablespoon to 5gal, if no aquarium salts in the house, table salt will be fine, add it gradually though.

umm my swordtail is beggining to fight my platy you think shes due soon?

they are both nipping at my platic plants

Thought you said you only had the two platys in the tank, table salt is fine, plus they don't look that fat to be ready yet to give birth.

It won't be the salt have you added the right dose.
